Recorded using groundbreaking recording techniques and equipment operated by noted audio engineers Nicholas Prout and Bob Katz, the album presents a series of spellbinding performances from a dozen sensational vocalists. They range from British-American singer/actor Rebecca Pidgeon (“Spanish Harlem”) and US folk troubadour Livingston Taylor (“Isn’t She Lovely”) to Pittsburgh jazz chanteuse Christy Baron (“Ain’t No Sunshine”), Brazilian songstress Rosa Passos (“The Girl From Ipanema”) and the late New York singer/songwriter Kenny Rankin (“‘Round Midnight”).
"The World's Greatest Audiophile Vocal Recordings" will be reissued on SACD Hybrid Stereo.
