Mecca’s unique solo style—marked by technical brilliance and a fresh, melodic energy—unfolds beautifully alongside the world-class Massimo Faraò Trio. Featuring Massimo Faraò on piano, Nicola Barbon on bass, and Byron Landham on drums, the ensemble provides a powerful and swinging foundation for Mecca’s lyrical trumpet lines. Recorded in Italy in October 2023, the session captures the thrilling synergy between the seasoned trio and the young trumpet genius.

 

Releasing in 2026 as part of the prestigious VENUS MASTERPIECE LP COLLECTION, this premium limited edition 180g Double Vinyl LP set brings Mecca’s Japanese debut to a deluxe vinyl format. Produced, mixed and mastered by the legendary sound engineer Tetsuo Hara, and housed in a stunning gatefold jacket with OBI strip, this release ensures that every nuance of the session is preserved in its entirety without omission, offering a definitive listening experience for the modern jazz connoisseur.
