On this acclaimed second album for Venus Records, Parrott is surrounded by a stellar ensemble of world-class musicians: John Di Martino (piano), Billy Drummond (drums), Harry Allen (tenor saxophone), Mark Sganga (guitar), and Nicki's sister Lisa Parrott (baritone and soprano saxophones). Recorded on June 17, 18, and 19, 2008, at Avatar Studio in New York, the group delivers an effortless, swinging performance that highlights the full charm of Parrott as both a vocalist and instrumentalist.

 

Releasing in 2026 as part of the prestigious VENUS MASTERPIECE LP COLLECTION, this premium limited edition 180g Double Vinyl LP set brings these definitive sessions to a deluxe vinyl format. Produced, mixed, and mastered by legendary sound engineer Tetsuo Hara using Venus's signature "Hyper Magnum Sound" process, and housed in a stunning gatefold jacket with OBI strip, this release offers a strictly limited, one-time pressing that will be permanently retired once sold out.
